SK Vincent (Vince) Brown

(1995 – 1996)

Past Faithful Navigator Vincent Brown received the honours of the First Degree of the Knights of Columbus on May 1, 1985 as a Charter Member of Good Shepherd Council 9005.
 He was elected to the office of council Treasurer in May of 1988 and served a single term of office in that position. The following fraternal year he was elected to the position of council Grand Knight and served in that office from July 1, 1989 to June 30, 1991.                 
In May of 1992 he was elected to the office of Trustee and served as a member of the Council 9005’s ‘Board of Trustees’ until June 30, 1995.
Vincent Brown was exemplified in the Fourth Degree of our Order on June 1, 1992.                 
SK Vince was elected to the office of Faithful Captain of Bishop John Beahen Assembly 2230 on May 24, 1994 and served in that office from July 1, 1994 to June 30, 1995.                 
On May 23, 1995 Sir Knight Vincent was elected to the office of Faithful Navigator of Assembly 2230 an office he held from July 1, 1995 to June 30, 1996.                 
The following year PFN SK Vince was elected and served in the office of the assembly’s Faithful Admiral for the fraternal year 1996/1997.
In May of 1997 PFN Vincent Brown was elected to the office of Jr. Trustee.  And served in that office from July 1, 1997 to June 30, 1998.                 
The following Fraternal Year PFN Vince reclaimed the office of Faithful Admiral and served in that office with distinction during the Fraternal Year 1998-1999.                 
In May of 1999 he was re-elected to the office of Trustee and served as a member of the Assembly’s board of Trustees from July 1, 1999 to June 30, 2002.                 
In 2002 PFN Vince was appointed Chairman of the Planning and Organizing Committee for “Exemplification 2003” which was being sponsored by Bishop Beahen Assembly.                 
In addition to his service to Good Shepherd Council 9005 and Bishop John Beahen Assembly 2230, PFN SK Vincent Brown has held positions with the Ontario State organization as District Warden of District 66 of the Ontario State Council for the Fraternal Years 1996 to 1998.  In July 1998 he was appointed District Deputy of District 66 where he served with distinction for the 1998-1999 Fraternal Year.                 
Currently, PFN Vince is serving as Financial Secretary of Council 9005’s First Degree Team and on District 66’s Second Degree Team.
