Past Faithful Navigator

SK Wilfred (Wilf) Lemoire

(2003-2004)

Past Faithful Navigator Wilfred Lemoire joined the Knights of Columbus in October of 1985 as a member of  Council 1705.
He was elected to the office of Grand Knight of Divine Infant Council 7873 for the Fraternal Year 1995-1996.
Moving to Limoges, he transferred his membership to Council 12401 and was elected as the Charter Grand Knight of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Council 12401 for the Fraternal Year 1999-2000.
                   
PFN SK Wilf was exemplified in the Fourth Degree of our Order in June of 1989.  He has served as a member of Bishop John Beahen Assembly’s Executive Committee in various offices from 1992 to 2006.                
He was first elected to the office of  Faithful Scribe in May of 1992; Faithful Pilot in 1993; Outer  Sentinel in 1995; Faithful Captain in 2001 and was elected to the highest office of our assembly, that of Faithful Navigator on May 27,  2003 an office he held during the Fraternal Year 2003-2004.
Subsequent to stepping down as our Faithful Navigator SK Wilf was elected to the office of Faithful Admiral a position he served in for the following two Fraternal Years (2004-2006).                 
PFN SK Wilf Lemoire has also served as a District Deputy for District 66 of the Ontario State Council  for the Fraternal Year 2000-2003.                  
During his tenure as District Deputy PFN SK Wilf was instrumental in the formation of St. Edith Stein Council 13049, for which he was honoured with the State Deputy’s Award for 2001-2002.
The Supreme Office of our Order also awarded Ontario District 66 the ‘Star District Award’ for the three terms he was in office.                  
He is currently a member of Good Shepherd Council 9005.
